Anyone want to babysit

I don't know if this is singing or just having fun with her voice.

A few Millie Pictures

Here are a few cute Millie pictures.  I think when she got her recent vaccines they accidentally injected her with puppy DNA.  She has been so wild!

Millie : A Primer

Amelia is an ever changing creature.  She is a fickle mistress - one never knows exactly what to do to make her happy.  Here are today's preferences.

Things Amelia likes today:

1. Her tasty, tasty hand
2. Your tasty, tasty hand
3. Her plastic parakeet
4. Diaper changes
5. Making high pitched shrill racket
6. Her Pacifier
7. Being used as a barbell (particularly if belly kisses are involved)
8. Empty raisin boxes
9. Keeping a watchful eye on Arthur
10. Her medicine and gripe water

Things Amelia does not like today:

1. Eating at 6:30am
2. Socks
3. Being put down (nobody panic- just for the night)

Here she is with the help.  :-)

Blogging from my phone

Now I can blog from my cellular phone.

Had a decent day home today with Millie.  She and I kept the shopping off the TV to a minimum.   Particularly since neither of us has a JOB.

I do have to say that at the end of the day I am sick of my own voice.  Arthur and Millie excel (ish) at listening; not so much on the conversing.

End of blog.

First bath

All clean after our first bath.  That was a lot harder than expected.

All snug in the car for the ride home

Kitchen business center

I am no carpenter.  I grew up watching my dad do lots of wood working projects, so I at least know my way around a saw.  Now that we have a bun in the oven it was time to convert the office into a more appropriate room.  We don't have the biggest house so it was time to get creative.

I decided we had enough room in the kitchen for a business center.  Not sure what else to call it.  Anyway, I made the cabinets out of Red Oak.  Ordered the doors from Lakeside Moulding (http://www.lakesidemoulding.com/).  Ordered the butcher block counter top from Lumber Liquidators (http://www.lumberliquidators.com).  Added a nice coat of white paint and called it done.  Well almost done.  Still need to add some trim and cut a hole for the monitor cable.  All in all I am very happy.
